Safety Rule Number 1:
Always turn the handles of pots and pans inward so you can't knock them off and spill something or burn yourself.

Always use mittens when handling pots and pans.
Safety Rule Number 3:
Always put foods gently into boiling water so it will not splash you.
Safety Rule Number 4:
Lift lids from hot pots with the opening away from you.
Safety Rule Number 5:
Keep loose clothes, long sleeves and long hair away from hot pots and pans
along with dish towels and recipes, they might catch fire.
Safety Rule Number 6:
When you’re finished cooking, always make sure all oven and stove dials are turned off.
Safety Rule Number 7:
Keep wet hands away from electrical outlets.
Safety Rule Number 8:
Always pick up a knife by its handle, not its blade.
Safety Rule Number 9:
When cutting, always cut away from yourself.
Safety Rule Number 10:
Avoid reaching over the stove top when cooking and watch your sleeves.

If you do burn yourself, immediately place the burn under cold water

Any spills, broken kitchenware or accidents should be reported to your parents immediately
